Senior Veterinarian Health Expert /DVM

• Listing summary: The successful candidate should possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree or a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. The candidate should have a minimum of 6–8 years of relevant professional experience in coordination, transit, freight forwarding, or related logistics operations, preferably with experience in Djibouti. Strong coordination, logistics, freight forwarding, communication, organizational, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are also required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of animal health conditions and illnesses

• Perform routine exams, surgeries, and other medical procedures

• Prescribe medications and treatments to animals in need

• Communicate effectively with clients and other members of the veterinary team

• Maintain accurate medical records and document all treatments and procedures

• Stay current on the latest developments in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education courses as needed

• Manage emergency and critical care cases in a timely and professional manner
