Senior Technical Architect — Performance-Based Design | Rhino, Grasshopper & Ladybug

I’m looking for a senior architect to work closely with me every day for the next month on a timber treehouse project intended for construction.
The project is small in scale but research-intensive, requiring performance verification, evidence-based design decisions, and buildable technical details.
I will remain the architectural lead and assign tasks. You should be comfortable working under my direction while independently developing technical solutions across the project scope.
Required expertise:
- Rhino and Grasshopper: Architectural modeling, parametric design, and preparation of analysis models.
- Ladybug and Honeybee: Climate, solar radiation, canopy shading, daylight, energy, and thermal comfort analysis.
- Building physics: Envelope performance, insulation, airtightness, thermal bridges, overheating, and moisture/condensation assessment.
- Timber construction and technical detailing: Framing concepts, elevated floors, connections, waterproofing, and coordinated wall–floor–roof assemblies.
- Technical documentation: Drawings, systems coordination, materials research, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and clear analysis reports.
You must be able to translate research and simulation results into practical design improvements and coordinated documentation.
Duration: One month, with daily collaboration and agreed working hours.
Proposed fee: 50,000, divided into four milestones with agreed deliverables and deadlines.
Performance bonus: An additional 10,000 for exceptional work.
