Position Summary

A highly skilled and experienced Senior Elevator Technician with comprehensive knowledge of elevator and escalator installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise and practical experience handling elevator systems throughout their full operational lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform elevator and escalator installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning.

• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical faults in elevator and escalator systems.

• Understand elevator control systems, wiring diagrams, safety devices, and operating mechanisms.

• Ensure elevators and escalators meet applicable technical, quality, and safety standards.

• Identify technical problems and implement effective corrective solutions.

• Supervise and guide junior technicians during installation, maintenance, and repair activities.

• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support for ongoing projects.

• Prepare technical service reports and recommend improvements to system performance and reliability.

• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and after-sales teams to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering.

• Extensive hands-on experience in elevator installation, assembly, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair.

• Practical experience in escalator installation and servicing is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of elevator mechanical and electrical systems, control panels, safety mechanisms, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide junior technicians.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety, technical quality, and professional standards.

• Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
