The role focuses on acquiring new merchants, promoting StarPay payment services, supporting merchant onboarding, driving first transactions, and increasing merchant activation, retention, and transaction growth within assigned territories.

Key Responsibility

• Identify and visit potential merchants within assigned territories to expand StarPay's merchant network.

• Identify and reactivate already onboarded merchants with no, low, or declining transaction activity, including dormant merchants, to increase active merchant usage and transaction volumes.

• Promote StarPay payment services, explain product features, and communicate approved pricing and benefits.

• Generate qualified sales leads and follow up with potential merchants to achieve acquisition targets.

• Support merchant onboarding by collecting required documentation and coordinating registration processes.

• Conduct product demonstrations and train merchants on payment acceptance and transaction management.

• Drive merchant activation by supporting newly onboarded merchants in completing their first transactions.

• Follow up with inactive and underperforming merchants to encourage repeat transactions and sustained usage.

• Build strong merchant relationships and identify opportunities to increase transaction volumes.

• Report merchant complaints, technical issues, and onboarding challenges to relevant support teams.

• Maintain accurate daily sales reports, merchant visit records, and activation progress against assigned targets.

Minimum Requirement

• High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.

• 1 year of relevant experience in field sales, customer acquisition, or merchant-facing services is preferred.

• Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates with strong sales potential are also encouraged to apply.

• Experience in digital payments, banking, telecommunications, or merchant acquisition is an advantage.

• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and customer service skills.

• Basic understanding of digital payment services, merchant onboarding, and sales processes.

• Ability to achieve sales targets, manage field visits, and maintain accurate activity reports.
