Network Engineer

Our company Qingdao Hisense Trans Tec Co LTD Ethiopian Branch wants to hire a qualified candidate for this position.

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for on-site network equipment commissioning, network operation and maintenance, fault troubleshooting, on-site technical support, and daily network service assurance.

II. Qualifications and Requirements

1. Educational Background

A diploma or above in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Communication Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates must possess a solid foundation in network technologies.

2. Work Experience

Candidates must have practical work experience in network engineering, including hands-on experience in on-site equipment commissioning, network operation and maintenance, and fault resolution. Fresh graduates without practical experience will not be considered.

3. Technical Skills and Competencies

Familiar with basic LAN and WAN architectures and common network topologies.

Familiar with the basic configuration and routine maintenance of mainstream network equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

Able to independently troubleshoot common on-site network issues, including slow network performance, disconnections, port failures, IP address conflicts, and network connectivity failures.

Familiar with basic network protocols and able to assist technical personnel with network commissioning, device deployment, and link testing.

Capable of troubleshooting basic computer and office network issues.

4. General Competencies

Demonstrates a practical and reliable work attitude, follows on-site project arrangements, and has strong execution capabilities.

Possesses good communication skills and can coordinate effectively with Chinese technical personnel on-site.

Has a good employment record, a strong sense of responsibility, and a willingness to learn.

III. Key Job Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance of all network equipment at the project site and maintain equipment registers and records.

Ensure the daily operation of office networks and project equipment networks, and promptly troubleshoot and resolve network faults.

Support project implementation by completing network cabling inspections and acceptance, device network commissioning, and link testing.

Record network faults and corrective actions, and submit network operation and maintenance logs on a regular basis.

Assist in network integration and connectivity for system equipment, security equipment, and terminal devices.

Perform other network-related technical tasks assigned by the supervisor.

IV. Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in network operation and maintenance for government projects, transportation projects, or intelligent systems projects will be given preference.

Candidates holding network certification credentials such as HCIA or CCNA will be given preference.

Candidates with experience in commissioning and configuring Huawei or H3C network equipment will be given preference.

Candidates with long-term on-site assignment experience and a stable employment record will be given preference.
