Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Amharic to Chinese Translator to support communication between Amharic-speaking and Chinese-speaking employees, clients, and business partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate translation and interpretation while maintaining the intended meaning and context.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, emails, reports, and other materials from Amharic to Chinese and vice versa.
• Provide interpretation during meetings, discussions, and business activities.
• Facilitate clear communication between Chinese and Ethiopian employees and stakeholders.
• Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information and documents.
• Assist with other translation and communication tasks as required.

Requirements

• Fluency in Amharic and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in translation or interpretation is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work professionally in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
